Music’s Recreation and Triphammer Arts Present:

Music of Eastern Europe

We are pleased to bring to you a program celebrating the diverse cultural identities, unique musical forms, and deep tonal language of this part of the world. Whether these composers pull from the sounds and practices of their native lands, or are influenced by other people and places, they have been and are a fundamental voice in the music we know today.

Composers include: Bartók, Dohnányi, Dvorák, Husa, Janáček, Likhuta, Martinu, Palej

(Efforts have been made to include all diacritics, but there are limitations given the available fonts)
